Vance is a partner in the Employment and Labor Department at Armstrong Teasdale, LLP. Vance has more than 20 years’ experience defending employers in single plaintiff and class actions alleging violations of state and federal law. As a former prosecutor for the Denver City Attorney’s Office, Vance tried over 300 cases. Vance has also lectured and written extensively on labor and employment matters, including but not limited to how the Legalization of Marijuana Impacts Employers. Vance has also been interviewed by KUSA 9News on “How Your Facebook Status Could Get You in Trouble at Work.” He has also been interviewed by Newsweek, The Denver Post, and The Denver Business Journal on the impact of medical and recreational marijuana in the workplace. Vance is a Colorado native. He graduated from the University of Colorado Law School, and Colorado State University.
