History of Chapter
The BPW Northwest Metro chapter was established on September 17, 1956. Over the years, it has undergone several name changes, including Arvada BPW, Arvada-Northwest BPW, and Northwest Metro BPW, yet our core mission has remained unchanged:
To foster personal growth, economic independence, community engagement, and legislative advocacy for all women.
Our chapter has been home to numerous members who have served as officers in BPW at both the state and national levels, alongside city councilors and state legislators. Notably, our current 1st Vice President, former Senator Evie Hudak, was honored with the BPW Lifetime Achievement Award at the recent BPW Colorado state convention, recognizing her 25 years of dedicated service to the state organization.

We convene monthly on the first Wednesday from September through May, focusing on personal and professional development through engaging programs, community involvement, and fostering friendships.
