About BPW Boulder

Founded in 1923, Business and Professional Women Boulder is a local membership organization dedicated to serving Boulder County. Our mission is to foster full participation, promote equity, and enhance economic self-sufficiency for working women. Together, we wield significant power—professionally, personally, and politically.

The membership of BPW Boulder largely consists of individuals striving to fulfill their personal and professional aspirations. We are a nonpartisan organization welcoming all women and men who wish to support our mission, connect with others, and cultivate lasting business and personal relationships.

BPW Boulder hosts regular meetings, and you can find a list of our forthcoming events on the Event Calendar.

ELNA A. LARSON EDUCATION FUND: The Elna A. Larson Education Fund serves as BPW Boulder's local educational resource. This fund offers financial assistance to BPW Boulder members pursuing the education necessary to advance their careers or re-enter the workforce. Applicants are required to demonstrate financial need.

BPW Boulder is a part of what can be considered the pioneering business and professional women's networking organization. In 2019, our organization proudly commemorated a century of historical support for women and women's rights. Established in 1923, shortly after the national organization was founded in Colorado in 1919, joining BPW Boulder presents a chance to make a tangible difference for women within our community and beyond. Our members enjoy the advantages of being part of an organization that has championed numerous causes for working women, while acknowledging that much work remains to be done. Join us at one of our events and connect with some of Boulder County's influencers!
