Building Powerful Women—Professionally, Politically and Personally
Colorado Business Women builds powerful women through personal
and professional development and increased political and social
awareness.
Hundreds of Colorado working women and men from communities
large and small are members of Colorado Business Women! We
help women achieve professional and personal goals through
programs, workshops, networking, and friendships. All is achieved
through monthly meetings and other sponsored activities. Each
Colorado Business Women organization creates its own unique
agenda, but all have the same objectives.
It is our hope that CBW will come to mean as much to you
as it does to each and every one of our members. The dream,
born nationally in 1919, has become a reality for over 90
years. Through the years, Colorado Business Women has worked
on legislative platforms such as the Equal Rights Amendment
(formally endorsed by Business and Professional Women/USA
at the 1937 Atlantic City Convention and not passed in Congress
until 1972).
We are a bipartisan organization. All laws passed have a
lasting effect on our lives today and in the future, and we
take part in the legislative issues which concern us.

vocational activities.
